The 69th annual UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW69), taking place from 10 to 21 March at the UN Headquarters in New York, is a milestone moment for women’s rights. The UN’s largest annual gathering on gender equality and women’s empowerment will review the progress made on the implementation of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, adopted 30 years back, which remains the most revolutionary plan on gender equality to date.
