United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres announced on 30 October 2023 the appointment of Kirsi Madi of Finland as UN Assistant Secretary-General and Deputy Executive Director for Resource Management, Sustainability and Partnerships at the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women).
